Throughout human history, people have risked their lives for the chance to be free: to live, love, think, and believe in freedom. Freedom is foundational to Unitarian Universalism, central to American identity, and vital for human thriving. With Pride month in full swing and Juneteenth quickly approaching, this is a good time to reflect on the meaning of freedom and its indispensability to the flourishing of all people. Despite the seriousness of the topic, there will be glitter!
