All classes will be learning about the national UU Service Project campaign called Guest At Your Table. We will have a special Multi-generational Service on December 6 and we need your children and youth to participate and help with the service. We are doing a play about winter celebrations around the world. There is not too much rehearsal needed, but a commitment from the children and youth who wish to be a part of the play will be helpful. If your child is interested in having a part in the play, but will not be at the fellowship for the weeks leading up to the play, please contact us so we can make sure there is a part for your child.
Preschool: Mikayla and Jeffrey will be playing with the little ones. Elementary: Michael and Liz will be finishing up their lesson on the good and bad of sports. Middle School : Stephanie will be meeting with the class to watch a Simpson’s episode and talk about the Gospel According to the Simpsons. Remember to get your completed Registration form (if your child has never been registered in the RE program) or check that your Registration information is complete, as well as your child’s Safety and Behavior Covenant turned in to Bre or the RE table. As soon as I receive that information, your child will have a name tag to wear on Sunday mornings. Preschool RE will meet for their usual gathering and play time. Elementary will be talking more about how sports reflect our UU values with Bre and Marilyn. Middle School will meet this week, so make sure to come and start your lessons on the “Gospel according to the Simpsons” with Michael. Remember that the Middle School group meets on the First Sunday of the Month. YRUU will not be meeting this week.
