Who is this minister who stands before you?

This Sunday, we meet Rev. Sarah Schurr who will be a minister in residence at UUFF for the next several weeks. Rev. Schurr says she loves to preach and lead worship. She is a graduate of the theology program at Marylhurst University, where her thesis was “Worship in Our Own Rite: Unitarian Universalist Flower Communion.” After graduating, she was ordained by the UU Fellowship of Corvallis, where she did her internship. She has served on the Pacific Northwest District board of trustees and as a new congregation organizer. She currently works for the district as a consultant and member of the nominating committee. She also works as a social worker at Parkinson‘s Resources of Oregon while she awaits her first parish position.
