Adult Religious Education

Adult religious education (Adult RE) courses and workshops are offered from time to time throughout the year. Look for announcements of new courses here or contact us to request or find out about upcoming topics.

Adult R.E. Class: We are all Immigrants

What is the immigration story in your family? Rev. Sarah will lead Adult Religious Education on the topic of justice, compassion, an immigration. This class is offered in conjunction with the children’s RE program which covers the same topic this fall. These classes will culminate in the multigenerational ethnic potluck after the service on Nov. 14th.

New UU Class Oct 7

Rev. Sarah Schurr will meet with visitors or newer folks after the service to provide an introduction to UUFF and to Unitarian Universalism. All are welcome. We will gather in the sanctuary after everyone gets a chance to grab a cup of coffee and say hello at social hour — about 11:45.

Chalice Circles

At least once a year, UUFF offers a Chalice Circles program. Chalice Circles usually start in late January and run through April or early May. By meeting in small groups of 8 to 10, Chalice Circles provide an opportunity to learn more about yourself while getting to know other participants in a setting that invites the thoughtful intimacy that comes through deep sharing. The format of the meetings helps participants set aside daily distractions, reflect on their lives and beliefs, and make meaningful connections with one another. More about Chalice Circles »
