Sign up for Articulating Your UU Faith workshop
Do you dream of being able to articulate briefly, intelligently and compellingly what UU is all about when people ask? Have you ever had difficulty explaining your personal beliefs to others, even your kids? That’s a common complaint of Unitarian Universalists, and it’s the reason Barbara and Jaco ten Hove designed this 5-session course on Articulating Your UU Faith. They have found creative ways to encourage folks to explore and express the basics of Unitarian Universalism in positive ways — rather than reciting a list of all the things you don’t believe. It’s been very popular with UUs across the country. On the back of the book, the Rev. Daniel O Connel promises that after the workshop you will even be able to tell your fundamentalist cousin about Unitarian Universalism in a way that satisfies you.
It promises to be a fun and jam-packed day, so arrive at 9 a.m. to check in. We’ll have coffee, fruit and muffins available. The workshop will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. Bring your own lunch or join the optional field trip to the Farmer’s Market for lunch around 12:30 p.m. We’ll reconvene at 2 p.m. and finish sometime between 4 and 5 p.m. We want to get a count of who is coming, so please sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer or contact us by email to sign up.
